Job Description
The Head of R&D will lead and coordinate all R&D efforts of the group and is pivotal for driving innovation and advancing technological capabilities. As member of the division management and a direct reporting line to the CEO, this person will manage:
Strategic and operational management of the R&D center with complete responsibility for budget and results A multidisciplinary R&D team of mechanical, electrical, hardware and software teams Analyzing new, innovative technologies and assessing their applicability in the industry Definition of the development roadmap in close collaboration with Product Management Steering of all development projects worldwide from the idea up to the market readiness under consideration of the critical time to market and budget targets Securing the technological know-how within the group through detailed documentation and appropriate training and education measure...
