Job Description
- Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management to support business goals and mitigate risks.
- Oversee the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the organization remains compliant with evolving standards.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
- Lead the internal audit of compliance processes and recommend improvements.
- Train and educate staff on legal and compliance-related matters.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings and negotiations, as needed.
