Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking an Arabic-speaking Head of HSE with a background in the Oil & Gas or Real Estate industry to join their team in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing, monitoring, and refining the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures

  • Providing leadership and direction to managers of different departments and initiatives on all matters pertaining to HSE

  • Interfacing with internal stakeholders (HSE Managers, HSE Consultants, etc.) and ensuring the HSE agenda is cascaded down all functions of the company

  • Collaborating within and outside the company to develop and implement action plans to improve HSE performance

  • Tracking KPIs, ensuring that a logbook of indicators is maintained, and administering the HSE review process, and ensuring all departments maintain it as required
