Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Platform Strategy & Architecture

Define and execute the long-term strategy for the enterprise data platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

Architect and oversee the data infrastructure stack (e.g., cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming, and metadata management).

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., Lakehouse architectures, real-time processing, AI/ML integration) to future-proof the platform.

Lead the development of high-performance data pipelines (batch & streaming) to ingest, process, and distribute data across the organization.

Establish and enforce engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, monitoring, documentation) for data products.

Sign off on all major data solutions before they move to production, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
