Head of Data Architecture and Engineering

Our client, a global financial institution, is looking for a Head of Data Architecture and Engineering to join their team. As a Head of Data Architecture and Engineering, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the organisation's data management strategies, while ensuring compliance with relevant governance standards
• Design, build and operationalise the organisation's Lakehouse / data platforms
• Build and lead high-functional teams across regions to uphold high data quality flow within the organisation

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in leading data management efforts within organisations, alongside demonstrated competence in Databricks and cloud
• Strong familiarity with governance and regulatory requirement frameworks both locally and globally, alongside deep technical know-how of data platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
