Role Summary
This role leads all things data, analytics, and AI across the business. You'll set the strategy, build the team, and make sure data is used safely, effectively, and to drive business decisions.
Financial or Insurance experience is a MUST!
What You'll Actually Do
- Set the direction: Define how the organisation uses data and AI to create value.
- Lead the team: Build and manage a high-performing data team (engineering, analytics, governance, AI).
- Own governance & risk: Make sure data is accurate, secure, and compliant with regulations (especially APRA).
- Drive the data platform: Oversee systems like Databricks, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.
- Deliver insights: Enable reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics for better decision-making.
