Head of Compliance Operations

An established investment management firm in downtown Toronto seeks a Head of Compliance Operations to join its team. Reporting to the president, they will be responsible for maintaining the firm’s culture of compliance and governance by maintaining and evolving the firm’s policies and procedures, ensuring day-to-day operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, remaining abreast of industry and regulatory developments, and the ongoing monitoring and training of the firm’s associates. The successful candidate will communicate regularly with members of the Portfolio Management Group, Client Service Group, Finance, and Marketing teams, as well as clients and their professionals. The individual will also interact with outside compliance counsel as necessary.
