This is a hands-on leadership role for a guide who combines exceptional field knowledge with genuine mentorship ability; the lodge places equal weight on character, attitude and long-term commitment as it does on technical experience.

- FGASA Level 2 or 3 qualification (Trails Guide qualification advantageous)
- Extensive experience guiding in a Big Five reserve
- Proven experience managing or mentoring a guiding and tracking team
- Valid PrDP and rifle competency for dangerous game
- Strong knowledge of local flora, fauna and ecosystems
- Excellent guest engagement and storytelling ability
- Strong leadership, training and team management skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the operation
- Genuine passion for luxury hospitality and conservation
- Strong character, cultural fit and a long-term outlook
