Hardware Product Owner & Development Engineer

Background:

We are seeking a versatile Product Owner & Hardware Development Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary (mechanical, electronics and firmware design) laboratory instrumentation team in a dual-function role. You will split your time between hands-on hardware development (electronics or mechanical engineering) and driving the team’s agile delivery according to the Scrum/Kanban approach (part of the SAFe framework). In the PO capacity, you will partner closely with Product Management to translate the overarching Product Vision into an actionable, high-quality Team Backlog. Your core responsibility will be Backlog Refinement, skillfully breaking down complex Features into granular, well-defined User Stories. You will own tactical prioritization to ensure the team consistently meets its Iteration Goals.
