About the Role
Transdev Canada is seeking dedicated and compassionate casual HandyDART Bus Drivers to join our Victoria team. The position is casual, unionized, and requires availability at least 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and courteous door‑to‑door service to passengers driving our cutaway‑style buses.
- Assist passengers with boarding, securing mobility devices, and disembarking using appropriate on‑board restraints for wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
- Comply with all traffic regulations, company Safety & Health regulations, and accessible transportation standards.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, making stops at designated locations to ensure passengers' timely arrival at their destinations.
- Provide a safe, respectful, and empathetic environment for passengers, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
