Job Description
- Ensures all Halal standardized recipes are utilized and followed by all culinary team members, implements and executes all menus as directed.
- Adheres to all Halal standards and guidelines in preparation, and methods of production and maintains and sets sanitation, hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitors team productivity through training, coaching and mentoring.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a degree in Culinary Arts or related discipline an asset.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a luxury hotel and in Halal kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong working knowledge on food safety and sanitation and Halal food preparation and cooking methods.
