Responsibilities Possess advanced knowledge and expertise in haemovigilance and transfusion practices, providing specialist guidance beyond standard clinical practice. Promote safe and appropriate use of blood and blood components by reducing wastage and encouraging suitable transfusion alternatives. Lead the identification, management, reporting, investigation, and closure of transfusion-related adverse events, reactions, near-misses, and non-conformances.
