Job Overview
We're responsible for the cyclical upkeep of the communal areas for customers across a large geographical area, including market rent, shared ownership and independent living communities across many estates or whole estates. The role is a Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Yeovil on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Maintain external communal areas, grass, shrubs and hedges.
- Undertake soft landscaping and minor tree work.
- Respond to hazards such as dumped items or snow clearance.
- Manage trees, retaining and replanting as needed.
- Plan workload within a fortnightly round, working in a proactive team environment.
Qualifications
- Practical amenity horticultural knowledge & experience.
- PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable).
- NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable).
- A full driver's licence, towing licence desirable.
