Ground Operations Lead

Responsible for customer inventory, receipts, put away and shipping for a specific
client.
- Dispatch drivers and respond to drivers' calls
- Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked up
and delivered
- Update data base on all dispatched moves
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with other departments within the company
- Respond to & solve production problems
- Train employees on job specific duties
- Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements
- Effectively communicate with clients, vendors and employees daily
- Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process
- Other duties as assigned
**Experience**: Preferred- Four years industry experience required
