The opportunity – Te tūranga
As Graphic Designer in our newsroom, you will be designing creative multi-platform graphics across TVNZ’s brands, primarily servicing the graphics requirements for the 1News, Te Karere and news on TVNZ+ teams. A part of the role will be designing imagery for tiles and thumbnails on the 1News website and news content TVNZ+. You’ll contribute to the creative environment and support the wider graphics team with concepts and visual ideation.
Your focus will be on
- Produce excellent graphics designs across a range of news productions and both digital and broadcast platforms
- Ensure designs adhere to brand and production guidelines
- Deliver outputs to deadline, ensuring stakeholder feedback has been captured and addressed within those timeframes
There may be an occasional requirement to do a shift in the weekend or on a public holiday. This is a fixed term contract 12-15 months.
