Intertek is searching for a Grain Inspector (Casual Part-Time - Union) to join our Agri team in our Burnaby, BC office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career!

Responsibilities

• Attend Vessel loading to provide incremental grading as per CGC standards of grain, canola and pulse crops
• Perform Moisture, Protein, Falling Number and DON testing as per acceptable industry methods
• Divide samples, make up composite samples for retention and complete required paperwork.
• Communicate and work in collaboration with terminal shipping department
• Properly utilize and maintain all PPE

Qualifications

• Experience in grain grading as per CGC standards
• Communication, literacy and numeracy skills in English
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work shift work
