Graduate Trainee: Information and Communication Technology

Purpose of this Programme

An internship with ECIC’s ICT Unit gives graduates the opportunity to gain relevant experience in a corporate environment while assisting with desktop and local area network (LAN) support to ECIC users and ensuring continued system availability.

Responsibilities & Exposure

• Serve as the initial contact for users of all IT supported systems, applications and services in operation.
• Administer, maintain, service and support approximately 90 end users.
• Hardware setup and support (including monitoring and updating inventory of computer equipment), PCs, printers, wireless network, switches and cabling.
• Software installation and support for various operating systems (Windows 11, Windows Server), Office 365 productivity and collaboration tools, SharePoint, Active Directory and other business applications.
• Administer and maintain the company’s e‑mail and internet facilities.
