Government Relations Advisor at EVR

Join Elk Valley Resources as a Government Relations Advisor to influence policy in the mining sector. This on-site position offers a unique work-life balance with alternating Fridays off.
In this role, you will support government relations under the Director of Regulatory & Government Affairs. You will track relevant provincial and federal policies, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and develop key policy documents. With a focus on sustainable development, your work will significantly impact EVR’s advocacy efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety programs
• Monitor policy activities for business opportunities
• Create backgrounders and position statements
• Coordinate submissions and information requests
• Represent EVR in industry committees
Requirements:
• At least five years of related experience in BC
