The opportunity
Solid‑State Transformers (SSTs) are emerging as critical infrastructure for modern data centers, particularly AI facilities, by providing high efficiency (up to 98.5%), compact, and intelligent power management. Unlike conventional transformers, SSTs utilize power electronics to convert medium‑voltage grid power directly to 800V DC, significantly reducing footprint, increasing efficiency, and easing grid interconnection.
