The position is responsible in executing importation tasks and responsibilities in compliance with customs regulations and as support to the sales division.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes importation bookings, coordinates with principals regarding bookings and monitors shipments
- Ensures that the principals/suppliers acknowledge the order booked
- Ensures that the complete shipping documents are received from the suppliers with ample lead-time for documentation and bank transactions
- Ensures timely processing of Goods in Transit
- Awards shipments to forwarders and/or brokers and coordinates all needed pre-documentation/permits
