GIS Specialist/Analyst

Aecon Civil focuses on infrastructure projects across Canada, the United States, and internationally, requiring GIS expertise to support design, construction, and operations.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Work with GIS Manager to design and implement geospatial solutions for regulatory and permitting aspects of infrastructure and transportation planning projects.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines in FME to integrate CAD/BIM (DWG/DGN/RVT/IFC), survey, as-built, LiDAR, and enterprise GIS (Esri) into authoritative datasets.
- Support construction operations: field maps, work packages, redlines/as-builts, utility conflicts, spatial QA/QC, and progress tracking.
- Develop scripts/tools (Python, ArcGIS API, ArcPy, FME transformers, REST) to automate workflows and publish web maps/apps.
