Geotechnical Lead: Open-Pit Slope & Risk Expert

RioTinto is seeking a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to provide critical support for slope design and geotechnical risk management for copper mining operations in Chile and across the Americas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, focusing on large open pits.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, contributing to best practices in geotechnical standards, and ensuring safety in all operations. Proficiency in English is required, while Spanish fluency is preferred.
