Role Overview
Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is seeking a General Pathologist (AP/CP) to complete a 4.8 FTE pathology team. The practice handles approximately 10,000 surgical pathology cases per year, 100 bone marrow biopsies, 500 cytopathology cases, and 50 autopsy cases. The role includes quality assurance activities, teaching medical and laboratory students, and working with local physicians and the surgical community.
Responsibilities
Provide general pathology services including surgical, cytology, and autopsy pathology. Perform bone marrow biopsies and coroner autopsies as fee‑for‑service. Participate in quality assurance processes and medical student education. Build collaborative relationships with hospital and laboratory staff.
Qualifications
