General Labour Lead Hand

As the Sample Preparation Lead Hand, you will supervise the Sample Preparation floor, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to client instructions, while also training and developing technicians.

Responsibilities

• Ringing, sieving, and crushing samples.
• Perform layout, verify shipment notices, and scan receiving weight.
• Screening, loading, and unloading ovens.
• Create workorders, generate bag and box labels, and perform QC checks.
• Handle special preparation procedures.
• Maintain sample receiving records.
• Assist in maintaining shift production levels and meet required turnaround times.
• Identify and help resolve internal and external problems as they arise.
• Assist in training sample preparation staff and report performance to the Shift Supervisor.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance as required.
• Act as backup to the Floor Supervisor.
