Join our dynamic team as a General Accountant . In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the administration, coordination, and directing the work of the General Accounting Department to support our thriving law firm operations. Based in our Taguig City, Metro Manila office, you will play a key part in maintaining our organization's excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Monitor and check vouchers prepared by staff which includes verifying requests for payment and the correctness of account charging, monitoring the check numbers assigned, and posting to the Accounting System.
- Monitor recording of Official Receipts
- Check payroll deductions, journal vouchers, various bank reconciliations, requests for payments (RFPs), and petty cash vouchers
- Checking and E-filing of BIR returns prepared for monthly/quarterly BIR remittances of withholding tax compensation/expanded and VAT
