Role Overview
The Role As a Functional Safety Systems Integration Engineer, you hold technical responsibility for functional safety (FuSa) engineering at the system level in automotive system-component development projects.
What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)
- Own system-level FuSa engineering: responsible for system-level functional safety systems engineering in low-voltage battery system development projects, focused on the concept phase and product development at system level (ISO 26262 parts 3 and 4), ensuring compliance.
- Plan & oversee FuSa activities: plan and provide oversight for all functional-safety-related systems engineering activities.
- Lead safety analyses: conduct Hazard and Risk Assessments (HARA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Develop safety concepts & requirements: create functional safety concept and requirements, as well as technical safety concept and requirements.
