Full-Time Primary Care Paramedic Float

Join the City of Thunder Bay as a Full-Time Primary Care Paramedic Float. You'll provide critical patient assessment, treatment, and ensure safe transport in compliance with health standards.
This dynamic role reports directly to the Superintendent of EMS Operations and requires immediate responses to ambulance calls. Your responsibilities will include patient triage, environmental risk assessment, and adherence to Basic and Advanced Life Support standards. You'll also maintain documentation per Ontario Ambulance Standards and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to ambulance calls and report movements
• Conduct thorough patient triage and assessments
• Administer patient care according to health standards
• Document incidents and maintain ambulance equipment
