Full-Time Planning Forester in Strathnaver

Transform forestry operations with us as a full-time Planning Forester based in Strathnaver, British Columbia. Lead planning activities, coordinate permits, and manage contracts closely.
Join our team to oversee all facets of forestry planning and operations. This critical role reports to the Woodlands Manager and interacts with First Nations, government entities, and consultants. Engage actively in block planning, appraisal analysis, and quality control while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate block planning and layout initiatives
• Conduct appraisal analysis and manage permit acquisitions
• Oversee quality control and contract management
• Build relationships with First Nations for stewardship
• Liaise with government and third-party stakeholders
Requirements:
• Registration or eligibility as RFT, FIT, or RPF
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in forestry planning
