In this essential role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients between healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate stretchers and wheelchairs. You'll work Monday to Friday and may face shifts of up to 12 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport patients via stretcher or wheelchair
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families
• Maintain effective communication throughout transport
• Uphold safety standards while driving
• Collaborate with partners to lift patients safely
Requirements:
• Valid First Responder Certification or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
