Make an impact in primary health care with Planned Parenthood Toronto as a Nurse Practitioner on a 20-month parental leave contract. This full-time role combines clinical practice with health promotion focusing on youth sexual and reproductive health.
As an RN(EC) in a community-based setting, you will be part of a dedicated team, providing comprehensive and client-centered care at our Downtown facilities. Your responsibilities will include health education, advocacy, and support tailored to the specific needs of youth aged 13 to 29.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual and in-person care to clients
• Support clients with health education and interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Administer HIV testing with appropriate counseling
• Contribute to gender-affirming care practices
