Full-Time Heavy Duty Mechanic Job

The Government of Saskatchewan is looking for Journey-person Heavy Duty Mechanics in La Ronge to support fleet operations. This role demands strong mechanical skills and a valid Journeyperson Certificate.
This full-time position with the Government of Saskatchewan involves maintaining and repairing various types of highway equipment and vehicles. We welcome applications from experienced mechanics or fourth-year apprentices in Heavy Duty, Truck, or Agricultural trades. A Class 3A driver's license or the ability to obtain one is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular inspections on vehicles and machinery
• Diagnose failures across mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on trucks
