Build the intelligence layer for research organisations
We're opening applications for a future Founding Engineer position. This isn't an immediate hire —we're building a pipeline of exceptional candidates who want to join an early-stage AI startup tackling document intelligence for the research sector.
When the time comes, you'll join as one of the first engineering hires, working directly with founders to shape the technical architecture and product direction.
What You'll Do
- Design and build core platform features across the full stack (React/TypeScript frontend, Node.js/Python backend).
- Architect and optimise our RAG pipeline—embedding strategies, retrieval algorithms, and response generation.
- Work with real document collections (policy reports, research papers, technical briefings) to improve AI accuracy.
