FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Dick’s Lumber inPort Kells, BC is looking for an organized, detail oriented, team player with a positive attitude to join our team as a Load Builder.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Accurately assemble orders for pick up and transport.
• Safely operate a forklift to build orders, load delivery trucks, receive inbound inventory and other tasks as needed.
• Assist customers as required.
• Verify receiving using “Pre-receiving paperwork” and “Packing Slips”. Tagg products and place in the appropriate homes.
• Document and process return ensuring merchandise is in sellable condition.
• Ensure required inventory adjustments are reported.
• Complete the forklift inspection form and perform daily maintenance.
• Ensure all lifts are piled evenly with no leans and compliant with safety standards.
• Work with team members to ensure stock is properly rotated.
