Forklift Operator (Afternoon)

The Forklift Operator (Afternoon Shift) safely and efficiently loads and unloads a wide variety of freight from trailers and containers using a propane sit-down counterbalance (SDCB) forklift in a busy cross-dock environment. This role requires strong forklift skills in tight quarters, accurate handling of shipping documentation, and the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high standard of safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane sit-down counterbalance (SDCB) forklift for approximately 80% of the shift to load and unload freight from trailers and containers.
• Handle a wide variety of freight types and sizes, including small parcels to large, heavy, and irregularly shaped items, ensuring safe and secure movement at all times.
