Responsibilities
- Lead and direct pipe fitters, welders, riggers, fabricators, grinders, and helpers in executing daily piping activities.
- Assign daily work to the crew as instructed by the Piping Supervisor and monitor work progress.
- Supervise piping fabrication, fit‑up, erection, installation, and alignment activities in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Verify that the correct materials, fittings, valves, and supports are available before commencing work.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure all piping installations meet quality requirements and project standards.
- Ensure proper installation of pipe supports, valves, flanges, gaskets, and associated piping components.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, permit‑to‑work requirements, and safe working practices.
