Fluvial Geomorphologist

As a Fluvial Geomorphologist, you will contribute to a wide variety of projects and provide expert advice on the interactions of natural systems with the built environment. The successful candidate will be located in Edmonton and joining a group of more than 25 geomorphologists across NHC. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate well developed analytical and critical thinking skills and describe how their training and experience has prepared them for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute field campaigns to support hydrogeomorphological investigations and studies
• Handle and interpret data from various sources to perform analyses of sediment transport, sediment budgets, sediment management plans, stream mobility, bank and shoreline erosion, and landform evolution
