Float Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator / Float Driver to transport, load, unload, and operate heavy construction equipment at various job sites. The successful candidate will ensure equipment is transported safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with transportation and safety regulations. Must be willing to work on construction sites and assist with snow plowing in the winter months as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• Communicate with the shop co‑ordinator.
• Must have a clean driver’s abstract and make safety a priority.
• Must have a least 5 years’ experience floating and operating equipment.
• Must have an A or A Restricted (AR), or DZ license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Must be willing to work on construction job sites as needed.
