Join STARS as a Pool Pilot and gain the flexibility to operate from any of our six bases. This full-time role includes potential travel required on less than 24 hours’ notice.
As a Pool Pilot, you’ll play a critical role in life-saving missions, overseeing helicopter operations efficiently. The position demands readiness to fly as Pilot in Command or Second in Command and requires completion of the AH145 training set to begin August 1, 2026. You will need to ensure all professional qualifications are meticulously maintained to support operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pilot STARS aircraft safely and reliably
• Retain a valid Category 1 aviation medical
• Keep proficiency with regulatory and training standards
• Maintain knowledge of publications and licensing needs
• Be available to travel across STARS bases
