Overview
Provide flexible, person‑centered support across multiple group‑living locations in Barrie at Empower Simcoe. Flex Support Worker will fill vacant shifts, respond to immediate staffing needs, and be prepared for redeployment where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of daily living within group homes.
- Provide personal care, household duties, meal preparation, finances, and support attendance at appointments and community activities.
- Redeploy to different locations based on agency priorities and emergent needs and transition seamlessly between work sites and support levels.
Minimum Qualifications
- Developmental Service Worker diploma or an acceptable equivalent diploma/degree as determined by the employer.
