As a Fleet Technician at United Rentals, you will perform general refurbishment, repairs, and rental‑ready preparation on mobile storage containers, ground‑level offices, and mobile/modular offices by following standard work instructions and checklists for all repair activities. The role includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and escalations of non‑standard issues.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine repairs and refurbishment on mobile storage equipment following standard procedures and work instructions.
- Carry out repetitive repairs such as door and lock adjustments, minor hardware replacement, basic caulking and sealing, paint touch‑ups, interior/exterior repairs, and repair of subfloor, tile, roof, walls, doors, windows, swapping wheels, tires, and axles.
- Follow standard work instructions and checklists for all repair activities.
- Remove and install decals and equipment numbers.
