Fleet Manager

Provide operation management services to a fleet of ships under charge to ensure they run in a safe manner as required by AE (Antwerp), and the running costs for all the vessels are within the budget allocated by the ship owners.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and interact with superintendents, ship owners, and internal departments, on day to day operational matters concerning the ships under charge. Make sure the ships operate within the budget.

• Provide guidance to the superintendents and the shipboard team to facilitate their work.

• Supervise vessel’s maintenance and day to day running, reviewship inspection / audit / environmental inspection reports / incident reports for vessels and discuss with Vessel Managers on the working plan for areas of concern and work for improvement.
