Fixed-Term Pharmacy Technician (1-year) - Markham

The Opportunity

The Pharmacy Technician is primarily responsible for accurately performing the technical aspects of prescription dispensing including receiving a prescription, transferring prescriptions, dispensing prescriptions including the technical release, and compounding (site-specific). In addition, the Pharmacy Technician will assist with inventory maintenance and ordering, communicating with patients, healthcare providers and internal customers, arranging payments and other duties as required to support the pharmacy team.

The Pharmacy Technician is expected to participate in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations required of a team player. All roles at Sentrex will be cross‑trained as permitted by scope of practice, and you may be required to help out in other areas of the pharmacy when required.
