Wirtgen Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our Service Team.
Primary Role Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair WIRTGEN Group construction and mining equipment.
- Inspect, dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical components including hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive assemblies.
- Install, align, adjust, and test mechanical equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform fault-finding using diagnostic equipment, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and machine inspections to identify wear, defects, and required repairs.
- Prepare and commission new machinery prior to customer delivery.
