We are currently hiring a skilled Fitter to join our team in Bergen, Norway. In this role you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical systems and components according to engineering specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical systems and components based on technical diagrams.
- Read, interpret, and use engineering specifications.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials using hand and power tools.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in mechanical fitting.
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles.
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina; ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
