Join the culinary team at Horizon North’s exceptional camp facilities as a First Cook. Work a 20 days on, 10 days off schedule while delivering high-quality meals.
In this role, you will prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring they are served on time and meet Horizon North’s high standards. With a minimum of three years in food service and prior experience as a Sous Chef, you will apply your knowledge of international and domestic cuisines effectively. Your culinary skills will be complemented by a robust understanding of safety standards in a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare diverse meals including seafood, poultry, and vegetables
• Use multiple cooking methods: baking, frying, and steaming
• Monitor and adhere to food budgets and quality control
• Follow FOODSAFE standards for food handling practices
