Fire and Hydraulic Design Engineer

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineer
• Regional Experience: Minimum 5 years of fire and hydraulic design experience on Australian projects.
• Project Experience: Must have a proven track record designing systems for:
• Hospitals (e.g., medical gases, infection-control drainage, complex fire zoning)
• Data centers (e.g., pre-action sprinklers, gas suppression systems, redundant water supplies)
• Commercial buildings (e.g., high-rise booster systems, rainwater harvesting, architectural fit-outs)
• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, Hyena (hydraulic calculations), or specialized fire modeling software.
• Standards Knowledge: In-depth understanding of NCC (National Construction Code) Volumes 1 & 2, AS 3500 (Plumbing and Drainage), AS 2118 (Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems), and AS 2419 (Fire Hydran...
