Job Responsibilities
- Install electronic equipment.
- Repair electronic equipment.
- Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies.
- Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specialized tools.
- Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults.
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
- Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies.
- Calibrate products using hand tools.
- Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports.
- Read blueprints and drawings.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
- Monitor safety conditions.
- Maintain inventory of supplies.
Qualifications
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in electronic repair and troubleshooting.
