Job Overview
The Fire Alarm Technician will report to the Regional Operations Manager and be responsible for code‑compliant testing, inspections, risk assessment, reporting, and proposing solutions on fire prevention topics. The role requires liaison among building occupants, facility managers, and stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations; create action plans and recommendations to resolve issues related to fire life safety compliance requirements (e.g., emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, fire doors/separations, fire alarm systems).
- Inspect fire alarm systems and components as required by regulatory requirements and complete required repairs.
