Job Description:
This role involves:
- Preparing and processing monthly journals
- Assisting with external and internal audits
- Performing bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed asset register and depreciation
- Preparing VAT, PAYE, UIF and other statutory working papers
- Assisting with budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting
- Analysing costs and investigate variances
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and automate repetitive tasks
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
Skills & Experience:
- 6+years' commercial accounting experience
- Manufacturing and FMCG experience (advantageous)
- Advanced Excel skills
