The Finance Controller leads all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance across UK and India. This role reports to the CFO/Finance Director and combines technical expertise with strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee accounting operations (A/R, A/P, GL, billing, inventory, revenue recognition)
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS
Manage cash flow, treasury, and financial planning
Handle statutory filings (UK Companies House & India MCA)
Oversee tax compliance:
UK: Corporation Tax (CT600), VAT (MTD)
India: Income Tax, GST, TDS/TCS
Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Manage payroll compliance (UK PAYE/NI, India PF/ESI/PT).
